Specials we bake now and then. Ask at the counter.

Not every one is in the cabinet every day. Fresh baking does not post, so it stays in Nova Scotia.

Pies in Halifax

Proper pies, made here

Every pie is made from scratch in our Halifax bakery, seven days a week: the fillings, and every pastry, hot-water crust, cold-water crust, puff and shortcrust. The meat is free-range from Oulton's in Windsor, Nova Scotia; the rest is local and Canadian wherever we can get it. The steak pies are all built on one thing, steak in our rich beef gravy, with the named ingredient added; the chicken pies the same, on chicken in our chicken gravy. Buy them hot from the counter until about 2 or 3, or chilled to take home and reheat.
