Ripple is a bar with a folded chocolate centre. Minstrels have a crisp sugar shell around Galaxy milk chocolate, while Counters are little milk chocolate discs without that shell. Same family, three quite different ways to get through a bag or a bar.
Smooth Milk, Smooth Caramel, Mint and Cookie Crumble in bars, with Ripple for the fine folds and Minstrels and Counters for the smaller pieces. A pouch of Mixed Miniatures settles the matter for anyone who refuses to choose, and the selection box does the same at Christmas.
It is smooth, silky British milk chocolate, the bar by the till in corner shops and petrol stations back home. Ours is the UK version, and the usual plan of snapping off one row has rarely survived contact with an open wrapper.
