Bewley's Tea Gold - 80 Teabags

Q: What does Bewley's Tea Gold taste like?

A: Bewley's Tea Gold is described as a perfectly balanced, full-bodied black tea blend. The Gold blend draws on black tea from Kenya, Rwanda, and Assam, which together produce the kind of proper, rounded cup that holds its own with milk and sits comfortably beside a biscuit or a long afternoon. It is Bewley's highest standard blend, so the character is noticeably more robust than an everyday bag.

Q: Where is Bewley's Tea Gold blended and packed?

A: Bewley's Tea Gold is blended and freshly packed in Dublin by Bewley's Tea and Coffee Limited, making it a genuine Irish import rather than a repackaged version. For anyone in Canada who grew up with Bewley's on the kitchen counter, that Dublin provenance is part of the point. The 80-bag box ships from within Canada, which means you are not waiting on a parcel from overseas every time the caddy runs low.

Q: Is Bewley's Tea Gold Rainforest Alliance Certified?

A: Yes, Bewley's Tea Gold is 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified. The black tea in the blend is sourced from Kenya, Rwanda, and Assam, and the certification covers the full blend. It is a practical detail worth knowing if you prefer your daily cup to come with some assurance about how the tea was grown and farmed.
