Canada's Top Reviewed British Shop
For people who are particular about tea, and the ones who are very particular about it.
Bewley’s Original, Gold and Irish Afternoon tea each make their own case for the kettle. Choose the blend you remember rather than accidentally ordering a Dublin café experience through the post. The tea bags travel rather more conveniently.
Some people are particular about their tea, and some people are very particular about their tea. If you grew up with a box of Bewley’s on the counter, or picked up the habit on a trip across the Irish Sea, you will know exactly which camp you are in. This collection brings together four Bewley’s favourites, all in generous 80 bag boxes: Bewley’s Irish Breakfast, Bewley’s Irish Afternoon, Bewley’s Tea Gold and Bewley’s Tea Original. Every box is shipped from Canada by The Great British Shop, so getting a proper cup no longer depends on someone remembering to pack a box in their suitcase.
The two Irish blends do what their names suggest. Bewley’s Irish Breakfast is the one for the first cup of the morning, the pot that goes on before anyone is properly awake and is expected to stand up to a good splash of milk. Bewley’s Irish Afternoon is there for the later part of the day, when the biscuit tin comes out and the kettle goes on again for no particular reason. Plenty of households keep both in the cupboard, which seems sensible.
Bewley’s Tea Gold and Bewley’s Tea Original round out the range and cover the steady, all-day cup that people come back to without thinking about it. These are the boxes for the office drawer, the cottage kitchen and the mug that gets made between emails. With 80 bags in each, they also last a reasonable while, although anyone who drinks tea the way most of our customers do will tell you that is relative.
We ship across the country, so Bewley’s heads out to Halifax and Dartmouth, Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg, Moncton, Kitchener and St. John’s without you having to search shelf after shelf for one familiar box. Whether you are restocking a favourite blend or adding a box or two to a bigger order with biscuits, chocolate and crisps, this collection makes it easy to keep a proper cup of tea within reach wherever you are in Canada.
