Shaws Caramelised Red Onion Chutney With Balsamic - 195g

Chutney sits at the heart of the British lunch that nobody bothers to cook: bread, cheese, something cold and a dollop of something sticky on the side. Red onion chutney is the one that turns up in pubs, delis and sandwich shops right across the country, usually next to a wedge of something strong.

In Canada, people go looking for it because the cheese is easy to find and the habit is not. You can buy the crackers and the Cheddar, but the plate still feels half done until that particular sweet, tangy jar is sitting on the board.
