Jacob's Crinklys Cheese & Onion Flavour - 200g

Crinklys sit in that very British spot between a cracker and a crisp: the snack you open with a cup of tea and finish before the tea has had a chance to cool. Cheese and onion is the flavour Britain argues about least, and Jacob's clearly knew it.

In Canada, the hunt usually starts with a craving nobody else in the house understands. You can describe them as crunchy, cheesy and ridged all you like. It does not help. Only the real ones will do.

They come in a 200g bag, which sounds like plenty until you open it. Fold the top over and they keep happily in the cupboard for a few days, though that theory has rarely been tested. Tip them into a bowl when people come round, or eat them straight from the bag at your desk and leave the crumbs as evidence.

Jacob's is also the name behind cream crackers, Mini Cheddars and Twiglets, so a bag of Crinklys seldom goes home alone. Put them next to a block of cheddar, a jar of pickle and a pot of tea, and you have a very respectable Saturday lunch.
