Cadbury Dairy Milk Mini Eggs Inclusions Ultimate Egg - 380g

Mini Eggs are how Britain knows spring has turned up. They appear on the shelves, everyone buys a bag "for later", and later never comes. Pressing them into a Dairy Milk egg was the obvious next move, and Cadbury made it.

People in Canada go looking for this one because Easter tastes of Dairy Milk if that is what you had as a kid. It is also the easiest way to give your own children a British Easter morning, complete with the argument over who gets the bit with the most Mini Eggs in it.

It is a proper 380g hollow egg in its box, so there is plenty to go round, or plenty not to. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, well away from the radiator and the sunny windowsill. The traditional opening method is a firm tap on the table, then pretending you did not mean to break off quite that much.

Most people pick up a bag of Mini Eggs alongside it, for the egg hunt, or to quietly replace the ones that vanished before Sunday. A Dairy Milk bar or two for the grown-ups rarely goes amiss either.
