Cadbury Stocking Selection Box - 174g

The selection box is a fixture of a British Christmas. Newsagents and supermarkets stack them high from autumn, and plenty of children in the UK get at least one, usually from a grandparent, usually opened before it is officially allowed.

People in Canada go looking for this one because a stocking does not feel finished without it. If you grew up with a Cadbury box on Christmas morning, you want your own lot to have the same. Or you want it for yourself, which is entirely reasonable.

It is the stocking size: small and flat, so it slides in beside the satsuma and the novelty socks without a fight. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from radiators, and well away from anyone who knows where you hide things.

It sits happily alongside the rest of a British Christmas cupboard: a tin of chocolates for passing round after dinner, a Christmas pudding, a box of mince pies for Boxing Day. Cadbury people tend to pick up a bar or two of Dairy Milk while they are at it.
