Morrisons Biscuit Assortment - 550g

A supermarket biscuit assortment is part of the furniture in Britain. It sits on the table when visitors come round, it lives in the staffroom, and it is what the in-laws reach for when they put the kettle on before you have even got your coat off.

From Canada, it is the mix you remember that you go looking for. Not any assortment, the one from the big Morrisons shop, the one that tasted like an ordinary Tuesday afternoon at home.

This is the 550g pack, which is a generous amount of biscuit for one household and a hopeful amount for a family. Keep it sealed in the cupboard, and once it is open tip the rest into a tin with a lid so the last few stay crisp. Dunking is encouraged, though losing half a biscuit in your mug is entirely on you.

Morrisons is one of the big British supermarkets, started in Bradford, and its own-brand shelves are what a lot of people grew up on. A box of proper British tea bags is the obvious partner, and you will need it.
