Moo Free Vegan Caramel Mini Eggs - 84g

In Britain, Easter is a chocolate event before it is anything else. The big egg comes out on Sunday morning, but the mini eggs do the real work all week, in bowls, in pockets, in the bottom of the shopping bag on the way home.

Plenty of people in Canada go looking for a particular brand they picked up at home every spring, the one that went in the kids' baskets or got scattered across the kitchen table. Moo Free is that brand for a lot of British families, and the name tends to stick.

The bag is a handful-friendly size: big enough to share, small enough that you will not have to. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, well away from the radiator and the sunny windowsill. They work for egg hunts, for pressing into the top of an Easter cake, or simply for eating while you pretend to tidy up.

Moo Free is best known for its seasonal chocolate, Easter eggs above all, so these sit happily beside a proper hollow egg. Add a box of British tea and you have most of an Easter weekend sorted.
