Mcvitie's Mini Gingerbread Men - 6pk

McVitie's is the name behind half the biscuit tins in Britain, and the mini bags are its lunchbox department. The gingerbread men were the bag you hoped to find when you unzipped your lunch, and the one you swapped for nothing.

In Canada they get searched for by people who remember that exact snap and gentle ginger warmth, and by parents who want their Canadian-born kids to understand what all the fuss was about. One bag usually settles the argument.

The pack holds six small bags, each one sealed, so they sit happily in the cupboard until someone finds them. They go in lunchboxes, coat pockets and glove compartments, and they make a respectable companion to a cup of tea when the proper biscuits have run out.

People who pick these up tend to wander further along the biscuit shelf. McVitie's also makes Digestives, Hobnobs, Jaffa Cakes and Rich Tea, so the gingerbread men rarely travel home alone.
