Jacob's Mini Cheddars Original - 90g

Mini Cheddars sit in that very British spot between a cracker and a crisp. They live in the snack aisle, they get packed for school, and they appear at every gathering where somebody says they will just have a few.

People in Canada go looking for them because the taste is tied to a particular bit of life: the lunchbox, the train journey, the evening in front of the telly. Once you have been without them for a while, the craving gets oddly specific, and only the original will do.

This is the 90g bag, which is a fair few handfuls. They keep well in the cupboard, so a bag can sit quietly until the moment it is needed. Tip them into a bowl for guests, eat them straight from the bag, or crumble the last few over soup if you are that sort of person.

Jacob's is also the name behind the classic cream cracker, so a packet of those and a good block of cheddar make natural companions. Plenty of people pick up a few bags of Mini Cheddars at once, on the reasonable grounds that one never lasts.
