Galaxy Minstrels Mini Eggs - 80g

Minstrels have been a fixture of the British sweet aisle for years: the cinema bag, the car journey bag, the bag that lives in the glovebox. When spring comes round, the egg-shaped version turns up on the Easter shelves and the regular kind briefly loses its place in the queue.

People in Canada go looking for these because Easter tastes of something specific. A bowl of them on the kitchen table, a few hidden in the garden, the ones found in June behind a plant pot. You want the same thing for your own lot, not a near enough.

They come in an 80g bag, easy to tuck into a basket or hand straight over. Keep them somewhere cool and dry, out of the sun, and they sit happily in the cupboard until the hunt. Scatter them for an egg hunt, pile them on top of a cake, or just open the bag and stop pretending.

Most people pick up a Galaxy bar at the same time, for the grown-ups who claim they are only buying for the children. Have a look at the rest of our Easter shelf while you are at it.
