Thornton's Milk Chocolate Bunny Small - 90g

In Britain, Easter chocolate has a pecking order, and a Thorntons bunny sits near the top of it. It is the one the grandparents bought, the one that came in the bag with your name on it, the one you saved until the cheaper eggs were gone.

Easter in Canada is perfectly lovely, but if you grew up with Thorntons, you want the bunny you remember on Easter Sunday morning. Plenty of people buy one for their own children too, so a kid growing up in Halifax or Calgary gets the same rabbit their parent had.

This is the small bunny, a proper size for a basket, an egg hunt in the garden or a pair of small hands. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, and well away from a sunny windowsill, because a bunny that has met the sun is just a puddle with ambitions.

Thorntons made its name on toffee and fudge before it ever moved into boxed chocolates, and that sweet-shop heritage is why so many people put a bag of Thorntons fudge or toffee in the basket alongside the bunny. Add a couple of British Easter eggs and the job is done.
