Cadbury Dairy Milk Tiffin - 53g

Dairy Milk is the bar most of Britain measures chocolate against, and the family has grown a long way from the plain purple wrapper. Tiffin sits at the textured end of it, the choice for people who find a plain bar a touch too calm.

People in Canada search for it by name, which tells you something. Nobody types "Tiffin" by accident. It is usually someone who remembers a particular corner shop, a packed lunch or a long car journey, and wants that exact bar again rather than something roughly like it.

This is a single 53g bar, sized for one sitting and one pocket. Keep it in a cool, dry cupboard out of the sun and it will wait for you. It slips into a desk drawer, a lunch bag or the glovebox, though the glovebox in July is asking for trouble.

It tends to travel with other Cadbury bars in the same basket: a plain Dairy Milk, a Crunchie, a Twirl for later. Add a box of proper British tea and you have the makings of a very good afternoon.
