Cadbury Mini Eggs Egg - 181g

In Britain, Mini Eggs are the sign that Easter is on its way. They turn up in the shops, people start buying bags "for later", and later never arrives. The egg version is the big occasion: the one you give, or the one you quietly keep.

People in Canada go looking for this one because it is the Easter egg they remember. It is the egg from the hunt in the garden, the one a grandparent posted every year, the one that tasted of being eight. When you want that exact egg, near enough does not cut it.

It is a proper 181g egg in its box, which matters when the box is half the fun. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from sunny windows and radiators, and it will wait patiently until Easter Sunday. Most people manage that. Some do not.
