Cadbury Freddo Caramel - 19.5g

Freddo lives by the till in every British newsagent, right at the height of a small child's eyeline. It is the bar you bought one at a time and finished before you reached the door.

People in Canada go looking for it because nothing else has that particular frog grin on it, and because they want the Cadbury taste they grew up with. Quite a few want to hand one to their own kids and watch the head-or-feet debate start all over again.

It is a single small bar, 19.5g, which works out at a few bites if you are patient and one if you are not. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from the radiator, so the caramel stays where it belongs. Lunchboxes, party bags and the desk drawer at work all suit it nicely.

Nobody ever buys just one frog. A few other Cadbury bars from home usually end up in the same basket, and the Freddo goes in last, as a little extra.
