Cadbury Dairy Milk Daim - 120g

Cadbury Dairy Milk Daim is one of those combinations that sounds almost too straightforward on paper and then turns out to be exactly as good as you hoped. The crunchy, caramelised almond centre that Daim is known for, wrapped in Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, has been a fixture on British confectionery shelves for long enough that most people who grew up in the UK have a fairly strong opinion about it.

This is the 120g UK-made bar, imported from the United Kingdom. It is a solid chocolate bar rather than a multipack, which makes it the sort of thing you either share generously or share very reluctantly, depending on the day. The Daim pieces running through it give the chocolate a brittle, toffee-like crunch that holds up well against the creaminess of the Dairy Milk.

For British expats in Canada, this is exactly the kind of bar that tends to appear on a wish list the moment someone mentions a trip back home. The Great British Shop stocks it so that wish list stays a little shorter, and nobody has to wait on a suitcase or a slow parcel from the UK to get hold of it.

Cadbury Dairy Milk has a long range of filled and flavoured bars, and the Daim version sits comfortably among the ones people return to rather than just try once. If you already know you like it, this 120g bar is a reasonable amount. If you have never tried it, it is a reasonable amount for that too.
