Typhoo Tea Extra Strong - 80 Tea Bags

Typhoo has been on the British tea shelf for over a century, one of the names people grew up with in the caddy by the kettle. Extra Strong is the one for those who find a normal cuppa a little too polite.

Tea is personal. You settle on one brand, one strength, one particular shade of brown, and when you move across an ocean, that is the thing you notice is missing on the first cold morning. That is why people in Canada go looking for this exact box.

There are 80 tea bags in the box, so one a mug, or a couple in a pot if the family is in. Keep the box closed and somewhere dry, away from the coffee and anything with a strong smell, and it keeps happily in the cupboard. It takes milk well and does not mind if you forget it for a minute.

A strong tea wants something to dunk, and it stands up to a biscuit without going weak at the knees. Most people pick up a packet of something from home to go with it, and fair enough.
