Maltesers Teasers Centrepiece - 335g

Maltesers are the British sweet nobody counts: the bag at the cinema, the one rattling in the glovebox, the handful that disappears while the kettle boils. Teasers took that malty crunch and put it in a bar, and a lot of people never looked back.

In Canada, it is usually the Christmas version of a thing that gets people searching. A British Christmas has its own sweets, and a big Teasers on the table is one of those details you only notice when it is missing from the room.

It is a proper 335g, so it is a sharing piece rather than a pocket one. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, well away from the radiator and the oven on Christmas Day. Put it on a board in the middle of the table and let people get on with it, or wrap it and hand it over.

It goes rather well beside a UK selection box, a tin of something being passed round after dinner and a pot of tea strong enough to stand a spoon in. Nobody has ever complained about too much chocolate on Boxing Day.
