Kinnerton Hot Wheels Advent Calendar - 40g

Kinnerton has been putting children's favourite characters on chocolate in Britain for decades, and its character advent calendars are part of the furniture of a UK Christmas. They appear on the shelf in autumn and every child in the aisle immediately has opinions.

In Canada, the people looking for one are usually parents who want their own kids to have the countdown they had, or grandparents who used to post one over from Britain every year and would rather not. A British Christmas starts on the first of December, and this is how it starts.

The whole calendar is 40g of chocolate spread across the month, so each door is a small bite rather than a breakfast replacement. It is slim enough to prop on a windowsill or hang on a bedroom door. Keep it somewhere cool and dry until December, away from radiators and away from anyone who thinks they can open a door early without being caught.

Most families pair it with a UK selection box for Christmas morning and a few stocking fillers from the same shelf, so the whole month tastes like home.
