Fox's Fabulous Cookies Assortment - 365g

In Britain, an assortment box is a social occasion with a cardboard lid. It comes out when visitors arrive, on a Sunday afternoon with the good mugs, or when somebody has news worth sitting down for. Fox's has been part of that ritual for a very long time.

Most people looking for this one are not after just any cookie. They want a particular box, the one that sat on the table while the grown-ups talked, and seeing it again in Canada saves a lot of explaining to friends who did not grow up with it.

The 365g box is a mixed assortment, big enough to share and happy to sit in the cupboard until company turns up. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, and close it up properly between visits, because a soft cookie helps nobody.

Fox's is a household name for biscuits in Britain, and an assortment like this sits naturally beside a box of proper British tea. Plenty of people pick up a second box on the grounds that the first one will not survive the week.
