In-Store Loyalty Programme – Terms & Conditions

Our in-store Loyalty Programme is our way of thanking regular customers for their continued support. By taking part, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Earning Points

    • Points are earned on eligible in-store purchases at the rate advertised.

    • Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.

    • Certain items may be excluded from earning points at our discretion (e.g., discounted, clearance, or promotional items).

      How to Earn Points

      • For every $1 you spend in-store, you earn 1 point.

      • Sign up in-store with your mobile phone number (home phone numbers can’t be used).

      • Your phone number will be linked to your account, so you can simply give your number at the till to collect points on future purchases.

      • If you pay with the same debit or credit card each time, it will automatically link to your phone number for faster checkout — no need to sign in every visit.

        • Once you sign up, you’ll receive a text message confirming your registration.

        • That text will include a link to add your email address to your account.

        • Add your email address through that link and you’ll receive a bonus 100 points instantly.

  2. Redeeming Rewards

    • Rewards can be redeemed in-store only.

    • A maximum of one reward item may be redeemed per customer, per visit.

    • Rewards cannot be combined with other offers, coupons, or discounts.

    • Rewards must be redeemed in full — no cash or credit will be given for unused value.

  3. Programme Adjustments

    • We review our rewards structure and points requirements once per year to ensure fairness and sustainability.

    • We also review the overall cost of the programme to the business over time and reserve the right to adjust the value of points or rewards at any time.

    • We may modify, suspend, or cancel the programme without prior notice.

  4. Account Activity

    • Accounts with no points-earning activity for 12 consecutive months may have their points balance reset to zero.

    • Any suspected misuse of the programme (including fraud or abuse) will result in immediate loss of points and removal from the programme.

  5. General

    • Participation in the programme constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

    • The most current version of this policy will always be available in-store and on our website.

Why We Make Changes

When we first set up this programme, it was based on the dollar value of the products we sell. Over time, things have shifted. We’ve got a lot more flexibility on our baked goods, so it’s easier for us to keep those rewards generous. But imported groceries are a different story, prices from the UK have been climbing, the exchange rate hasn’t been on our side, and inflation is hitting there just like it is here in Canada.

We’ve kept our shelf prices stable for as long as we can, even while our costs go up, because we want to keep things affordable for you. That does mean we’ve had to adjust the programme so it’s a bit harder to earn a gift card (which is a straight dollar value), while baked good rewards stay more accessible.

It’s not about giving less, it’s about making sure the programme can keep going without us having to hike prices across the board.
